Founded in 2003, Art Lavie is a Chengdu-based brand of designer Jiulong Yan's. Specialising in graphic design, branding services, as well as creative product development, Art Lavie's signature style fuses Chinese culture and heritage with Western concepts and techniques, creating one-of-a-kind artistic curations.

Artist, designer, founder and art director of Artlavie. A graduate of Chengdu University, he currently lives and works in Chengdu, China. He has been involved in the design field since 1996, for 20 years. During these two decades, he has participated in numerous domestic and international art and design exhibitions and exchanges, and has been responsible for the image design of several international cultural and artistic institutions. He has also participated in the design and promotion of almost all major cultural and artistic events in Chengdu. To a certain extent, his design work has covered all areas of graphic design. In recent years, Yin Jiulong's design creation has begun to shift from graphic design to multi-dimensional cross-disciplinary attempts in spatial design and product design, attempting to truly break down the boundaries between art, design, and life. Portrait of Spring

This sculptural series is inspired by Yin Jiulong’s dream of the “Four Seasons,” using spring as a metaphor for the coexistence of vitality and decline. Through biomorphic and fantastical forms, the works explore life as a tension between creation and destruction.

The series also challenges the boundaries between design, ceramics, and art, demonstrating that continuous experimentation, innovation, and curiosity are essential to sustained artistic creation.

Song

The "Song" series of vases features an elegant, simple, and modern design. Song embodies a deep respect and fascination for the essence of beauty. One series of vases boldly divides the vase in two, creating three different uses. The simple yet vibrant colors, along with the constant variations and combinations, make the Song series both practical and playful.
